In the microwave baking process of food factories, the same principle applies: the thickness of the material directly determines the quality of the finished product.
Microwave heating generates heat by absorbing energy from water molecules inside the material. If the thickness of the materials is uneven, or if a large amount of materials are stacked together, the microwave energy that can be absorbed by the stacking area will be concentrated and stacked. The thin layer of material absorbs limited microwaves and heats up smoothly; However, there are many materials in the pile, and a large amount of moisture absorbs microwaves at the same time. Heat continues to accumulate inside, and it is not easy for heat to dissipate. The temperature rise rate is much faster than in the diluted area.
The accumulation of heat at the stacking location can easily lead to local overheating, manifested as material burning.
